Some love songs explode with certainty. Others sit in the uncomfortable middle. On her new single “limerence,” rising LA-based artist jite leans into that emotional grey area. The track circles the kind of overthinking that creeps into relationships once the honeymoon glow fades, when affection and doubt begin to exist side by side.

In a time where debut singles often arrive layered, loud and desperate to prove a point, Jael does the opposite. “Prisoner Of Love” is stripped back to almost nothing.
