TWOFACED Build Towards Debut EP With New Single ‘Dying Light’
New Zealand dance duo TWOFACED return with ‘Dying Light’, bringing trance, speed garage and hard house together ahead of their forthcoming debut EP.

New Zealand dance duo TWOFACED are building towards their debut EP with ‘Dying Light’, a new single bringing together trance, speed garage and hard house influences. Arriving on the same day as their sold-out London headline debut, the release marks another step for a pair whose music is finding an audience well beyond their home country.
The second single from their forthcoming project, ‘Dying Light’ draws on the melodic side of trance, pairing prominent synths and piano hooks with the driving rhythms of speed garage and hard house. It's a combination that reflects the duo's approach to club music, pulling from different styles without settling into one particular sound.
For those unfamiliar with TWOFACED, earlier releases including ‘I Need You’, ‘Yearning’ and ‘Love Again’ offer a starting point. Their catalogue moves between house, garage and trance, with melody and dancefloor energy at the centre. ‘Dying Light’ continues that direction, giving listeners another taste of what to expect from their first extended project.
The release also coincided with an important moment for TWOFACED in the UK. On 16th October, the duo made their London headline debut at Village Underground, selling out the Shoreditch venue. The show followed appearances on line-ups including Teletech and Sammy Virji Curates Finsbury Park, bringing their music to audiences familiar with the harder, faster sounds influencing their productions.
Their schedule now stretches across several continents, with upcoming North American dates including Vancouver, Seattle, Dallas and Brooklyn. Further UK shows are also planned for early 2027, with Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle and Bristol among the stops.
For TWOFACED, ‘Dying Light’ arrives at a point where their touring ambitions are beginning to match the reach of their releases. With a debut EP still to come, the next question is how the duo will carry that club-focused energy across a full project, rather than a succession of singles.
