Stepney Workers Club has just launched their highly anticipated new silhouette, the Osier S-Strike, under their latest campaign, "Movement & the Collective Mind." This release marks a significant addition to the brand's lineup, showcasing their unique take on classic running design with a modern twist.
The Osier S-Strike is Stepney Workers Club's second foray into running silhouettes, following their first successful launch. This new design spotlights the brand’s love of 70s running aesthetics, inspired by the simplicity of vintage running upper patterns. It pairs suedes with early-tech nylons and features exposed padding, creating a timeless yet contemporary look.
The collection includes the Osier S-Strike in a variety of colourways: Suede Mix in Black, Desert, College Red, College Blue, and College Yellow.
The Osier S-Strike is designed as an everyday runner, inspired by the simplicity and versatility of 70s running shoes. It pairs suedes with early-tech nylons and features exposed padding. Underfoot, the Osier S-Strike boasts a lightweight technical 3-part sole unit, including a low-density EVA midsole, S-Strike TPU heel support, and a cut-away cleated rubber bottom tread. This combination offers a timeless look with modern comfort.
Key features of the Osier S-Strike runner include hairy suede uppers and facings, nylon forepart and side panels, high-abrasion proof laces for performance and durability, a raw-edged padded nylon sports tongue, and an ecru leather S-Strike identifier. The 3-part lightweight technical running sole consists of a cushioned light EVA midsole, a durable rubber bottom sole tread, and a stabilizing TPU ‘S-Strike’ heel-clip.
The "Movement & the Collective Mind" campaign delves into the connection between movement and maintaining a positive state of mind. It explores how individual minds are linked to a greater collective consciousness, with movement en masse stimulating this shared consciousness.
