The Prestigious Music Awards Ceremony Will Take Place at Utilita Arena Sheffield on February 7, 2024, Kicking Off the 2024 Awards Season
The MOBO Awards, the significant annual celebration of black music and culture, is set to make its debut in Sheffield for the 26th edition. The awards ceremony, known for its commitment to showcasing diverse talent and promoting inclusivity, will take place at the Utilita Arena Sheffield on February 7, 2024, representing the MOBO Awards' dedication to expanding its presence across the UK.
Sheffield, with its rich musical history, diverse communities, and vibrant cultural scene, merged with its welcoming atmosphere, natural beauty, and a strong sense of community, make it an ideal location to kick off the 2024 awards season. Kanya King CBE, the founder of MOBO, expressed excitement about bringing the awards to Sheffield:

Since its inception in 1996, MOBO has played a pivotal role in supporting the growth of British Black music globally as the iconic trophy has become one of the highest accolades in music, recognising artists across a wide spread of genres, including Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Reggae, African music, Alternative music, snd more. The MOBO Awards 2024 aims to build on this legacy, celebrating a quarter of a century of supporting and elevating black music in the UK.
