Edge of Earth and Octavious Marks New York (OMNEWYORK) debut their first footwear collaboration, a bold suede mule design that blends global craftsmanship with streetwear flair.

When two boundary-pushing brands collide, undoubtedly the expectations are high. Edge of Earth’s first venture into footwear, in collaboration with Buffalo-based streetwear brand OMNEWYORK, definitely does not disappoint. Known for its globe-spanning approach to design and materials, Edge of Earth bring its signature craftsmanship to the table, while OMNEWYORK injects their rebellious flair into a silhouette that feels both luxurious and subversively streetwise.
At the heart of the release is their striking suede mule, available in two different versions. One comes in a rich bright blue suede that contrasts perfectly with the red and white detailing at the toe of the shoe. The other, however, keeps things a little more stripped back, letting the texture of the suede speak for itself. Together, they offer a duality that plays with the idea of versatility: one for those who are a bit more adventurous and the other for the classicists.

Both of these fashion houses so clearly have their finger on the pulse when it comes to forward-thinking style and being free from tradition. This collaboration sees a fresh take on a classic silhouette, making it a perfect addition to any summer wardrobe.
While the price tag may raise eyebrows (especially for a debut shoe from a brand still in its infancy in the footwear market), there is thought behind every detail. The closed-heel mule, typically considered a fleeting fashion moment, is reimagined here with practicality in mind, making their case for everyday wear.
Ultimately, the collaboration succeeds in delivering a product that lives up to the ethos of both labels: unconventional, unapologetic, and most importantly creatively charged. Edge of Earth’s craftsmanship meets OMNEWYORK’s high-impact vision in a way that feels fresh, if not entirely risk-free.
The collection dropped on Friday, April 25th, and is now available to shop on the OMNEWYORK website and in-store at over 220 Hibbett Sports stores across the USA.
