MASTER COLLABORATOR EDBL LINKS UP WITH SUPERLATIVE FOR FREE-FLOWING SINGLE, ‘ALL ME’

Collaborative force and skilled producer edbl continues his journey to push the boundaries of genre, sonic sensibility and collaboration on his new single, ‘All Me’, featuring Superlative.

'All Me' song cover

Building around a sublime piano sample, edbl’s production gives room for Superlative’s raw, self-reflective lyrics to flourish. Along with his accomplished verses, Superlative provides a catchy chorus to tie together what is a hugely enjoyable track.

Speaking on the track, edbl commented, "'All Me' started with a sample from one of my favourite producers Fred Cox and his buddy Hutch. I made the beat as soon as I heard it and have been sat on it a little while."

"When it came to pulling together beats for this project I knew I wanted this one on it. Sometimes a beat and a rapper were made for each other, and I believe that is the case with this beat and Superlative. When I heard his bars it blew my mind - I was so gassed straight away, added a couple layers and a cheeky guitar solo and the song was done. It came together super quickly and organically!"

Superlative insightfully added, "'All Me' is me stepping into my self-respect era. Realising that not all help given is reciprocated and always being accessible allows people to take advantage of your willingness to help. This song is an affirmation in the form of self-worth and a goodbye to the former person I once allowed people to see me as."

‘All Me’ arrives with the news of more to come, with edbl announcing his upcoming full-length album, titled ‘2010 Mixtape’. Judging off ‘All Me’, edbl has been busy at work to add further gems to his expansive discography. ‘2010 Mixtape’ is bound to be a significant moment in UK music, with its wide array of collaborators bridging UK R&B, Soul and Rap scenes.
