Rising Melbourne producer, vocalist, and DJ Pretty Girl has released her latest single 'All Good' following her recent remix for Romy and Fred Again..'s hit single 'Strong' which she released after supporting Fred at his sold-out Melbourne show.
Coming as a deeply textured blend of ambient synths, breaks, and introspective, 'All Good' is a cerebral introduction to the fragile sounds of Pretty Girl's emotional chain of electronic music. Releasing with an accompanying lo-fi video directed by Charles Bucton-Leslie and Tom Lewis, we see the Melbourne native in locations across her home city. Speaking on the track, Pretty Girl explains: “
All Good is my most personal song so far, a song written and produced during a painful few months in 2022. It's about disappointment, vulnerability, and heartbreak, and if you've been there you'll really get this one.”
Pretty Girl is the force behind some of the most entrancing and uplifting electronic music you’ll hear this year and her left-field infusions of house, UKG and techno can stir the dancefloor as much as it can soundtrack the walk back home. Playing support slots for global DJ’s such as Bonobo, Fred Again, Skin On Skin, DJ Seinfeld, Mella Dee and more, as well as performing her captivating live set to 6000 people at Boiler Room Melbourne, Pretty Girl is already making waves in underground circles here in London for her breakthrough EP Middle Ground. Set to play a string of UK dates this summer and set to release loads of music in between, keep an eye on this one to watch.
