TOM MISCH UNVEILS SECOND SUMMER SINGLE "CINNAMON CURLS" FROM HIS UPCOMING PROJECT

Acclaimed British musician and producer Tom Misch has released the second single in a series of tracks dropping this summer, “Cinnamon Curls,". following the success of last month’s “Insecure”, Misch continues to enchant audiences with his distinctive fusion of soulful melodies and refined production.

Standing as a shining example of Misch's collaborative prowess. The track was co-written with Grammy-winning songwriter Jimmy Napes, multi-instrumentalist and producer Nate Mercereau (notable for his work on André 3000’s instrumental album), and long-time collaborator and singer-songwriter Carmody.

The song benefits from the expert mixing of Neal H Pogue, whose skill has defined numerous hits across various genres. Although penned and recorded before 2020’s “What Kinda Music”, alongside “Insecure”, “Cinnamon Curls” presents a stark sonic contrast to its raw, stripped-back predecessor with a vibrant and radiant feel, reminiscent of a Californian sunrise, and is underpinned by warm, woozy guitar synths. Tom Misch reflects on the creation of the track:

“I made Cinnamon Curls back in 2018 in one of my first sessions in LA with a producer called Nate Mercereau. We got the original idea down in the session and then I took it into another session with Jimmy Napes to work on the lyrics. It's always had a very hazy, LA vibe to me and I'm glad to finally get it out.”

Misch has established himself as a formidable force in contemporary music, adeptly blending elements of jazz, R&B, and hip-hop, rapidly becoming one of the most celebrated artists of the last decade.

As Misch meticulously crafts his eagerly anticipated new solo album, "Cinnamon Curls" continues to solidify his reputation as a leading figure in the music industry, with a unique ability to seamlessly merge genres and create timeless music.
