Tia Gordon Turns Friendship Heartbreak Into New Single ‘Feel’
Tia Gordon explores the fallout of a close friendship on ‘Feel’, pairing vulnerable songwriting with warm, upbeat production from edbl.

Tia Gordon has released ‘Feel’, a new single exploring the heartbreak that comes with losing a close friendship and the questions left behind when that relationship ends.
Produced by edbl, the track is stripped-back without losing its energy. Warm instrumentation and an upbeat rhythm give ‘Feel’ a lighter sound than its subject might suggest, allowing Tia's vocals to take the lead.
That warmth makes the track easy to get lost in, but there's a much heavier story underneath. Listen closely to the lyrics and the hurt becomes clearer, with Tia opening up about a friendship that once meant a great deal to her.
Rather than focusing entirely on her own feelings, she also questions how the other person experienced the fallout. It's a vulnerable side to her songwriting, delivered with the feeling of somebody finally getting something off their chest. The production never needs to slow down or become heavier for that emotion to come through.
The single follows a busy period for the Croydon-born singer, who supported Sam Smith at the London Coliseum on September 12th. Earlier this year, she also released her six-track EP i asked the stars for this. x, continuing to build on the personal songwriting that runs through her music.
Tia's first UK and European headline tour includes performances in Bristol, Manchester and London during October, followed by Paris and Amsterdam in January 2027.
‘Feel’ captures the difficult side of friendship breakups without turning them into something overly dramatic. Its warm production might draw you in first, but it's Tia's openness that gives the song its lasting impact.
