Stüssy is kickstarting the year with a bang, only one month into the year and we are already seeing collaborations with the likes of Timberland and Our Legacy, as well as a fully-fledged Spring 2023 collection. Refusing to let the foot off the gas, today we are treated to a Stüssy x Nike collaboration seeing the duo work on the Air Max Peny II, which they complete with co-branded apparel.
Looking across the lookbook it's clear that the centrepiece of the collection is a black zip-up hoodie boasting a massive white Nike swoosh on its back and co-branded iconography on its front, with Stüssy-stamped stripes running through the entire silhouette which will be released with wide leg matching trousers. Another clear standout piece from the collection is a statement knit sweater featuring Stüssy's signature lettering, dice illustrations and more recognizable motifs, which pairs nicely in a similar grey-black colourway. The remaining pieces fall into the loungewear category, with black and blue sweaters and sweatpants showing off a simple iteration of the dual logos.
This isn't the first time we've seen Stüssy work on the Nike Air Max Penny II silhouette releasing it in a new tan colourway. As seen in the previous models, the sneaker includes Stüssy's graffiti emblem on its upper lateral in blue; elsewhere, the shoe boasts an all-black sole and a soft tan upper with a black tongue, laces, heel branding and linework.
