Slayyyter Returns With ‘i think he's got a girl’ Ahead Of New Album ‘wor$t man in america’
SLAYYYTER shares her latest single and self-directed music video as she prepares to release wor$t man in america, the companion album to this year's WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA.
SLAYYYTER has released her new single ‘i think he's got a girl’, accompanied by a self-directed music video, as she prepares to release her upcoming album wor$t man in america on 4 December. The release follows a busy year for the pop artist, whose latest project builds on the themes introduced in WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA earlier this year.
Released on 9 October, ‘i think he's got a girl’ explores the growing suspicion that a partner is seeing somebody else. The track captures the uncertainty of a relationship beginning to unravel, with SLAYYYTER turning her attention towards jealousy, vulnerability and the uncomfortable feeling that something isn't quite right.
The accompanying music video sees SLAYYYTER step behind the camera, drawing on vintage Hollywood glamour and her Midwestern roots. Set around a luxurious home, the visuals move between retro-inspired styling, poolside scenes and some stranger moments, including a raccoon-fur outfit beside a flaming barbecue. Beneath the playful presentation sits a story of romantic uncertainty, with SLAYYYTER appearing alone throughout much of the video.
The single will feature on wor$t man in america, a nine-track companion to WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA, which arrived in March. Rather than a traditional follow-up, the new record explores familiar themes from a different perspective, with songs that revisit and reinterpret ideas from its predecessor.
The forthcoming album also includes ‘brand new chanel$’ and ‘crank 2’, which offer new takes on ‘BEAT UP CHANEL$’ and ‘CRANK’ respectively. Together with ‘i think he's got a girl’, the releases offer an early introduction to the next part of SLAYYYTER's current era.
SLAYYYTER will bring her WOR$T GIRL IN THE WORLD tour to the UK later this month, with stops in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow, Brighton and London.
wor$t man in america arrives on 4 December 2026.
