SKEPTA AND PORTABLE UNLEASH THEIR AFRO-GRIME FUSION WITH "TONY MONTANA"

SKEPTA
As anticipation builds for Skepta's upcoming album, “Knife and Fork”, the grime heavyweight has unleashed the vibrant single "Tony Montana," featuring emerging Nigerian rapper Portable.

Produced by the acclaimed Jae5, the track is an upbeat Afro-Grime fusion that seamlessly blends grime and Nigerian influences.

As Skepta takes centre stage with hard-hitting verses that celebrate success and resilience. The lyrics reflect on the journey from humble beginnings to a life of opulence, with Skepta's signature flow dominating the track, as the celebratory cut is a testament to the artist's prowess and influence.

Portable comes in with his smooth vocals to handle the chorus, providing a melodic break to Skepta's dynamic verses. The chorus, infused with Afrobeats vibes, adds a layer of infectious energy to the track. "Big Smoke pelu tobacco oh / Tony, Tony, Tony Montana oh / Wacko, psycho / I want to explode," croons Portable, creating a catchy and memorable hook.

Accompanied by cinematic visuals directed by Capone, Skepta and Portable channel their Scarface alter egos. Donning ample fur, the duo takes centre stage outside a grandiose hotel, spitting bars. The visual narrative unfolds as they roll up to an all-white party, exuding confidence and charisma as they become the life of the celebration.

"Tony Montana" is a much-anticipated collaboration that seamlessly merges North London grit with Nigerian vibrancy. Produced by JAE5, the track pulsates with infectious energy, creating a journey that transcends cultural divides. The fusion of Skepta's legendary status and Portable's rising star power results in a track that celebrates diversity and unity.
