Silva Bumpa, the emerging sensation in UK Garage, makes a bold statement with the release of his debut EP, "What About The DJ?" on Locked On Records.
Drawing inspiration from Northern nightlife, the Sheffield-born artist combines UK bass grit with the infectious bounce of club classics, capturing the nostalgic essence of mid-noughties bassline with a contemporary twist.
"What About The DJ?" showcases Silva Bumpa's innovative production style and feel-good musical approach across five tracks. The previously released title track sets the tone with wobbling basslines and raucous flair, while singles like "Without U" featuring Megan Wroe and "Songs of Praise" with grime MC Capo Lee explore different facets of UK Garage.
