UK rapper Rushy has just released his latest single, ‘LDN’, via his label Rushaan Savoury. This track offers a raw tribute to London youth culture, showcasing Rushy’s evolution of grime, utilising old-school grime slang and a grime flow over a trappy UK rap instrumental. The lyrics vividly depict Rushy navigating the streets of London, making moves while referencing quintessential British symbols like “bulldogs on the strip.”

Accompanied by a cinematic music video filmed across the capital, produced by Double Or Nothing Productions, captures London in all its glory and grit, juxtaposing major landmarks with the city’s backstreets. The US-friendly drill instrumental and the visuals present a different side of the UK capital, countering the stereotypical images of royalty and tea showcasing the real London.

2024 is shaping up to be a significant year for Rushy. His recent From The Block Freestyle, featuring the new track ‘Not That Deep’, showcased him rapping in front of Big Ben. In April, he released ‘Koko Krazy’ with a video shot at Camden’s iconic KOKO venue, earning support from BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio 1, Capital Xtra, and KISS FM.

With his upcoming mixtape, Rushy aims to reveal his true self to the world. ‘LDN’ offers a glimpse into the often unseen hustle and bustle of London’s streets, solidifying Rushy’s place in the UK rap scene.
