RUSHY CONTINUES HIS RUN OF HITS WITH ‘KOKO KRAZY'

London-rapper Rushy
2023 saw Rushy's name skyrocket with viral hit ‘Pressure’. He then linked up with Antslive at the start of 2024 for the momentous ‘Estelle’. This past week, Rushy returned with the instantly impactful ‘Koko Krazy’, indicating he has no intention of slowing down.

This new offering is built on a bed of jazzy piano chords, woozy strings and a bass-heavy groove. Rushy’s instrumental selection continues to be exquisite, with producer Yogic deserving of the highest praise. The whole song has a luxurious quality to it, allowing Rushy to really be in his bag on this one.

The lyrics see Rushy reflect on the success he’s been experiencing. With the London-rapper having hit-singles as far back as 2019, he is better placed than most to comment, “You don’t make no progress cah’ you sit on your arse, you lazy”. An impactful way to begin the track, it sets the tone for Rushy to talk-his-talk.

The song's title comes from the line after, where Rushy describes meeting a girl at iconic London venue, KOKO. I predict this line will also reach iconic status, with it easy to imagine it being shouted by UK crowds all summer.

Rushy is proving with single-after-single that he deserves his spot at the top of the scene, and ‘Koko Krazy’ is the latest example of this. With fans calling for a mixtape, Rushy could be on his way to concretising his place amongst the upper echelons of UK rap.
