Rising South London rapper Proph delivers punchy new single ‘Milano’
Proph has been rapidly turning heads with his bar-heavy approach to UK rap, exhibited over several releases in 2023. He begins his 2024 with new release ‘Milano’, showcasing what he is becoming widely revered for. Sleek flows and clever wordplay blends with the vibrant instrumental to great effect. He delivers heavy punchlines on topics ranging from his likeness to Cristiano Ronaldo, to his ambition to pop up at Milan Fashion Week.
It’s easy to see why he’s earned the title of ‘your rapper’s favourite rapper’. Co-signs from the likes of Wretch 32, Stormzy and Ghetts don’t go unnoticed. At only 21 years old, he’s quickly solidifying his place as the next rapper to blow in 2024.
Speaking on this latest track, Proph explained,
"Milano is my first single of the year and is one of my favourite songs I've ever made, the flow and sound is so unique to me.. I was rinsing it for a good 8 months now I'm dropping it!"
Another impressive aspect of Proph’s output is the fact he can claim production credit for a large proportion of his discography. With producing, rapping and performing all in his repertoire, it seems the sky's the limit for the young artist from Thornton Heath.
