Multi-talented British artist Poppy Ajudha has officially announced her sophomore album, 'Poppy,' set to release on November 22nd, 2024. This highly anticipated release comes after a two-year break and follows her recent return with the empowering single “My Future”.
Poppy was crafted with contributions from renowned collaborators including Mike Malchicoff Maestro, Fred Ball, Wesley Singerman, and Travis Sayles. Reflecting on Poppy’s personal and artistic growth over the past two years, blending her signature style with raw vulnerability and emotional depth, speaking about the album, Poppy shared,
“This album is a reflection of my growth, an outward pouring of my raw vulnerability and the deep desire I have to challenge myself in everything I do. I really put everything into it, and I hope it resonates with you as much as it does with me.”
Announcing the album with the lead single “Lean On Me," It’s a powerful track about the importance of community, friendship, and supporting each other through challenging times. Accompanying the single is a visually striking music video featuring Poppy and dancers performing an energetic, heartfelt routine. In Poppy’s words,
"We realise true friendship in the moments we are most vulnerable. I wrote ‘Lean On Me’ after going through a breakup, finding strength in my friends. It’s about the power of friendship and unconditional love.”
