London-based streetwear giant Palace Skateboards is gearing up for the Fall 2023 season with a highly anticipated collection as the brand took to Instagram to tease seasonal themes set to release later this year.
The first image shared by Palace showcases a halted motorcycle rider on the road, sporting a robust leather jacket protecting him from intense winds. The jacket is a collaboration with Avirex, an iconic US outerwear manufacturer renowned for its high-quality leather goods. The varsity-style jacket is adorned with gothic "PALACE" lettering on the upper back, overlaying "New York" branding in tribute to the Big Apple. The back of the jacket features a fire brigade-inspired badge with collaborative Palace and Avirex branding, as well as the number "75" at the center. Speedy "PALACE LONDON" markings complete the rear design, featuring a striking combination of grey leather with red, white, and black accents and striped textile perimeters.
Established in 1975, Avirex has a rich history of producing military aviation apparel for the US armed forces, becoming synonymous with impactful garments that later gained popularity in the streetwear and music scenes.
