Pa Salieu Links With joki And Daecolm On “Never Never”

Pa Salieu steps into 2026 with “Never Never”, a cross-continent link-up built for late nights and loud speakers. Teaming up with Oslo hitmaker joki and Zimbabwe-born vocalist Daecolm, he lands on a track shaped between Lagos and London, carrying the heat of both cities.

Never Never

“Never Never” opens with Afro-leaning percussion before sliding into melodic rap and smooth R&B hooks. The Lagos influence is clear. The drums feel live. The bounce feels natural. It does not chase trends. It sounds like three artists catching a moment in real time. Speaking about the record, joki says:

"Never Never was made during my first trip to Lagos, high on jollof rice and the city’s unique energy. This song and sound really captures that feeling for me — a melting pot of different genres and good energy. Pa and I clicked both personally and musically right away, and the track came together on our second day in the studio. It really came to life once Daecolm heard it in Lagos and added his sauce the next day from London.”

joki, whose credits range from Britney Spears and T.I. to Zara Larsson and XXXTENTACION, keeps the production slick without overcomplicating it. Pa Salieu glides over the beat with the grit and melody that have defined his rise since “Frontline,” while Daecolm locks in with a smooth hook that taps into his Afro-R&B lane.

“Never, Never” feels like a natural link-up rather than a label move, driven by timing and chemistry. If this is the tone Pa Salieu is setting for the year ahead, expect more global connections and more moments that hit both the dancefloor and your playlist.
