NUKULUK UNVEILS NEW SINGLE "FAITH" AND ANNOUNCES MIXTAPE ‘STILLWORLD’ TAKING US ON A JOURNEY THROUGH MEMORY AND RESILIENCE

Nukuluk, the trailblazing experimental hip-hop collective from South East London, is back with their newest single, "Faith," a raw and introspective track that paves the way for their upcoming mixtape ‘stillworld,’ slated for release on November 27th via colorburst records.
Nukuluk

As one of the most innovative groups in the UK's leftfield music scene, Nukuluk continues to push boundaries and defy genres, merging elements of hip-hop, electronica, punk, and indie into a sound uniquely their own.

"Faith" is a powerful exploration of memory and resilience, rooted in the agnostic rapper Monika's complex relationship with his religious mother. The song reflects on how love, even when challenging, can instill a deep sense of faith, something Monika eloquently captures in his lyrics: "Faith can be forced on the faithless through love! 'Faith' is a song about motherhood, about receiving gifts and curses. It's about discovering the gift of faith within a complicated legacy." Built around an Imogen Heap vocal sample, "Faith" has evolved since its early inception in 2019, with contributions from various band members and collaborators, including Patrick Fitzgerald of Deathcrash. After nearly making it onto their previous projects ‘DISASTER POP’ and ‘SUPERGLUE,’ “Faith" has finally found its rightful place on ‘stillworld.’

This new track is a glimpse into what ‘stillworld’ promises: a rich, genre-blending experience that stays true to Nukuluk's eclectic sound who have become known for their ability to fuse alternative rock, ambient music, metal, dance, and R&B.

Get ready to dive into ‘stillworld’ on November 27th; an album that promises to be as unpredictable and captivating as the band that created it.
