"Faith" is a powerful exploration of memory and resilience, rooted in the agnostic rapper Monika's complex relationship with his religious mother. The song reflects on how love, even when challenging, can instill a deep sense of faith, something Monika eloquently captures in his lyrics: "Faith can be forced on the faithless through love! 'Faith' is a song about motherhood, about receiving gifts and curses. It's about discovering the gift of faith within a complicated legacy." Built around an Imogen Heap vocal sample, "Faith" has evolved since its early inception in 2019, with contributions from various band members and collaborators, including Patrick Fitzgerald of Deathcrash.
