NIKO B UNLEASHES DEBUT ALBUM "DOG EAT DOG FOOD WORLD" TAKING US ON A JOURNEY THROUGH MODERN LIFE WITH ABSURD WIT AND DIY SPIRIT

Niko B
Milton Keynes' finest, Niko B, has finally unveiled his highly anticipated debut album "dog eat dog food world."

Infused with raw creative vision and a powerful DIY spirit, this debut album delves into the tangled complexities of modern life, all while deconstructing the concept of adulthood in the 21st century. Crafted predominantly with beats from emerging YouTube bedroom producers, the album is a testament to Niko's authentic and relatable storytelling.

Spanning 12 tracks, Niko B offers a deep dive into his unique perspective on small-town life and his recent move to the city. Balancing end-times gloom with absurdist wit, "dog eat dog food world" resonates with listeners through its real, authentic, and warm delivery. Niko's introspective and relatable observations cement his role as a Gen-Z Mike Skinner, bringing an honest and genuine voice to his music.

Opening the project with the first single released from the project and teased in Niko's Victory Lap cypher with Central Cee and Dave, "tresspass coat" ft dexter in the newsagent, Niko sets the tone for the album with its intimate and relatable lyrics. Clear standouts from the project come in the form of "ur a bundle of joy" offering a kaleidoscope of moody nostalgia, loaded with funky guitar licks highlighting Niko's bold wordplay. For many, the biggest standout is "miniclip" featuring Kirbs. Produced by UK legend Kwollem, this lo-fi track features a relaxed approach with its alternative rap and witty lyrics referencing the iconic miniclip we spent many days playing in our youth.

Tracks like 'it's not litter if you bin it' and 'Dagenham to barking' have already garnered support from notable figures like Zane Lowe, with each track providing a snapshot of Niko's imaginative world, filled with obscure observations and humorous anecdotes.

"Everyone thinks it’s a dog eat dog world, eat someone else before you get eaten. While everyone’s around arguing and in competition, I'm just here enjoying my dog food, because I like it. This album stemmed from being in awe of everyone around me, I love what people are interested in, even if I don't get it. I love that they love it. This is music I genuinely love. I try to sing in some songs. I have talented friends who are also with me on this project. Please enjoy with open ears, and then listen again whilst standing on the dining room table, or in a car.”

"dog eat dog food world" encapsulates the essence of what it means to be a British teenager, with each track telling tales of highs, lows, and everything in between. Niko B's ability to balance humour with poignant insights makes this album a relatable and enjoyable listen for all.

Niko B first exploded onto the UK pop culture scene in 2019 with his viral hit 'Mary Berry', amassing millions of streams. Since then, he has continued to captivate fans with his sharp lyricism and creative visuals, while also growing his clothing brand, Crowd, into a cult favourite.

Niko B's debut album "dog eat dog food world" is more than just a collection of songs; it's a reflection of modern life through the eyes of a young, talented artist. With its mix of humour, introspection, and raw creativity, this album is set to make a lasting impact. With a chance to make it in the Top 40 album charts, is this Niko B's break into the mainstream?
