NEW JERSEY HARDCORE TITANS GEL ARE SET TO DOMINATE 2024 WITH THEIR EXPLOSIVE NEW SINGLE AND FORTHCOMING EP

2024 is gearing up to be a landmark year for hardcore heavyweights GEL. With a new EP "Persona" dropping on August 16th, a North American headlining tour, and festival performances across the UK and EU, the band continues to push boundaries with their latest single "Persona."

Fresh off their recent signing with Blue Grape Music, the band has announced their upcoming EP, *Persona*, set to release on August 16th. To top it all off, they’ve also unveiled a massive North American headlining tour and are currently shaking stages across Europe, playing at iconic festivals like Primavera Sound, Download, and Roskilde.

Continuing to keep the energy soaring, GEL have released Persona's electrifying title track. Following their previously acclaimed single "Mirage," "Persona" pushes GEL’s visceral hardcore sound to new, intense heights. Encapsulating the band’s relentless dynamism, offering a taste of the evolution and depth that defines their latest work.

Last year, GEL’s debut full-length album "Only Constant" took the hardcore scene by storm and catapulted GEL into the spotlight, establishing them as one of the most exhilarating new acts in aggressive music. With Persona, they show no signs of slowing down.

Produced and engineered by Jon Markson, known for his work with Drug Church and Drain, the "Persona" EP captures GEL at their most daring. The band leaned into a more collaborative process this time around, harnessing the creative confidence gained from relentless touring.

“We really wanted to fill out the songs more and make them more nuanced,” says vocalist Sami Kaiser. “It’s a step forward, it’s different, it’s catchy, but it still really sounds like us.”

The result is a widescreen version of GEL’s signature stomping hardcore, amplifying their innate ferocity without losing an ounce of primal energy.
