Using layered harmonies and jazzy hi hats, Nectar Woode tells a story of getting through life even when you don’t feel like you can.
The 24 year old East Londoner has released the title track from her upcoming EP, "Nothing To Lose". As previously mentioned the harmonic vocals take centre stage here, layered on top of one another, truly showcasing Nectar’s angelic performance.
"Nothing To Lose" has been released alongside a music video which features clips from the past year, which relates to the message in the single. Nectar has said her lyrics are about times when “you’ve been hurt by life and how to get out of it”. Furthermore, Nectar mentions how her friends and family are her main driving force when the going gets tough and the song is a note to herself to keep on going, no matter what.
Nectar Woode has been featured on many radio stations from BBC Radio 1, to BBC Radio 6 and many more. As well as playlisting on Spotify’s RADAR and Fresh Finds playlists. Woode has also hit the stage, selling out her headline show, with her next headline show on March 14th at Omeara in London.
