Nate Brazier, the rising South London-born artist/producer, has released a 4-track remix package for his club-rooted debut project, YSK.
The EP has gained critical acclaim for its incorporation of elements of future garage, alternative R&B and two-step, all steeped in the heritage of electronic music. The remix package features remixes from hotly-tipped producer p-rallel, NiNE8 collective co-founder Mac Wetha, Parisien DJ Tatyana Jane, and notorious party-starter Ahadadream.
Nate has released one remix per week throughout March, culminating in the thunderous remix of 'Inertia' by bass heavyweight Ahadadream. Speaking about the remix package, Nate said,
"The EP had so much influence from the rave that I had to run it back with the remixes, to dive even deeper into that space. These incredible DJ/producers all had some influence on the original EP, so it made sense for them to take each track into their own hands and push it as far as they could creatively."
Nate's music injects a breath of fresh air into the alt-dance space, bringing color to greyscale coming-of-age moments. His early releases have amassed over 1M+ streams, and he has been featured on Spotify's coveted POLLEN playlist. He draws inspiration from the experimental soundscapes of Burial, James Blake, Jai Paul, and FKA Twigs.
In a short space of time, Nate Brazier has become an essential new artist to watch. His debut project YSK, and accompanying 6-track visual EP, introduced Nate's nocturnal world and set the tone for his future success.
