Known for co-founding Hooversound alongside SHERELLE in 2019, NAINA's latest venture showcases her artistry from a new angle, blending ethereal vocals, bass-heavy beats, and nods to electro and techno. Capturing NAINA’s creative evolution and her deep-rooted connection to club culture.

Alongside the single, NAINA has announced her first full project, ‘Survival’, set for release on February 7, 2025. Fusing techno, jungle, and footwork into high-BPM rhythms, the EP embodies what she describes as “tears in the club moments.” Fans can expect an atmospheric and body-moving journey that highlights NAINA’s skill in blending nostalgic sounds with fresh, energetic production. “I’d Rather Be Here (Than Anywhere With You)” showcases NAINA’s introspective and raw side. She shares,

“This was the first track I made for my debut EP. I wanted to create something atmospheric that builds to a euphoric ending. I started with a techno base, but the breaks felt so natural to add, capturing the young raver in me. Production has always been a cathartic release, and with this track, I felt fully ready to share what I can do.”

Channelling influences from artists like The Prodigy, FKA Twigs, and Hooversound artist Prayer, and serves as a powerful introduction to her producer identity.

Known for her energy behind the decks, NAINA has performed at major festivals including Glastonbury, Outlook, and Boomtown, and has graced Boiler Room twice. She’s been recognized in VOGUE India and nominated for Best Radio Show at the DJ Mag Awards, with Hooversound nominated as Best Breakthrough Label in 2020.

With her new single and EP announcement, NAINA is proving herself as a multi-dimensional artist and an emerging force in the electronic music scene.
