Dublin-based artist Monjola is winning fans over with his addictive hybrid of lo-fi rap imbued with soulful optimism. Bridging the gap between cultures and proving they are always stronger when they come together. Arriving in Ireland when he was four, he felt the effects of racism from an early age. Assimilating into Irish society not always being an easy feat, Monjola's takes listeners on a journey from weakness to triumph.

Offering a cathartic experience that empowers audiences to confront their own demons, “OFTEN” effortlessly blends R&B, hip-hop, and rock influences. With its infectious energy and seamless transitions between rap and singing, displaying Monjola's sound perfectly!  Monjola explains;

“Stuck in a cycle of feeling overwhelmed by life's journey. Sometimes, I don't even know what I'm thinking about often, but my mind finds a way to convince me that I need to overthink some things. I believe there's more to life than the things we stress about. Recently, I've started hiking and trying to take in nature and everything around me. It's definitely helped me show more gratitude in general.” Monjola also adds, “My music is a space for people who feel different to process their anxieties. It took me a long time to find myself and my tribe, so I want to spread love, especially to the outsiders who might be feeling the same”.

His latest single offers just a glimpse of what's to come, stay tuned for more new music and updates from Monjola, arriving very soon…
