Marnz Malone has announced his new 14-track mixtape I Wish I Could Sing, arriving on 25 September, alongside another J Hus collaboration in “Unorthodox”.

Marnz Malone is already moving onto his next major release of 2026. The Birmingham rapper has announced I Wish I Could Sing, a new 14-track mixtape arriving on 25 September, with “Unorthodox” featuring J Hus giving the rollout its latest push.

The announcement comes only months after Yaqeen, which arrived in February. Rather than stretching that campaign across the year, Marnz is following it with another full project and a guest list including J Hus, Skillibeng, Byron Messia, Stardom, Clavish, Teeway, J Relz and Sandra.

“Unorthodox” arrived on 3 September, produced by Gusto & Smokey C and accompanied by an official visual. It also continues a collaboration that has already appeared once this year, with J Hus featuring on Yaqeen track “Splashin”.

Speaking on “Unorthodox”, Marnz said:

“Me & the Militerian himself, one of many we had in the locker, make sure you listen to what I’m saying : don’t confuse me with these rappers! I wish I could sing out September 25th!!!!!”

His mention of having “one of many” in the locker suggests there is more unreleased material between the pair.

J Hus is only one part of I Wish I Could Sing. The wider feature list brings together several corners of UK rap alongside Jamaican artists Skillibeng and Byron Messia.

The bigger story is the pace. Yaqeen could easily have carried Marnz through much of 2026. Instead, seven months later, he is already preparing another 14-track release, keeping the focus firmly on output rather than stretching one campaign across the year.
