Louis Culture has announced his new EP, ‘I Can’t Wait To See You Again’, alongside releasing exquisite new single ‘Anyway’
After beginning the year with the release of ‘Mannequin’, the south-Londoner has followed it up with another fantastic addition to his discography. ‘Anyway’ sees Louis discuss the struggle of missing someone, and processing their absence by trying to fill the gap they have left. It seems he arrives at the conclusion that nothing quite works in filling this gap. The exploration of these emotions has translated beautifully into song.
On ‘Anyway’ Louis combines his efforts with producer Jim Reed, as well as vocalist Asha Lorenz from north London band ‘Sorry’. Both their contributions ought to be commended, with sparkling guitar plucks corresponding with impactful drums on the production. Asha Lorenz appears for a pre chorus that is vital for the creation of the song’s energy and emotion. The Lime Bikes line particularly stands out as a highlight.
Louis Culture showcases what he is best loved for on this track, transferring his emotions beautifully into a sonic bliss. If this is a taster for what we can expect from the EP ‘I Can’t Wait To See You Again’, then we are absolutely in for a treat. I’d go as far as to say this is one of my favourite tracks to be released so far in 2024. Louis Culture has gifted us a brilliant offering with ‘Anyway’.
