Leah Cleaver Drops Bold Second Single ‘Have You Ever’

Leah Cleaver keeps her momentum alive with new single ‘Have You Ever’, the sparkling follow-up to her debut ‘Last Time’. It’s a playful track that balances chaos with charm, leaning into Leah’s gift for turning confessional moments into something everyone can connect with.

Built around springy drums and jittery piano, the song captures the feeling of being both dramatic and self-aware, but surrounded by friends who love you anyway. With its tongue-in-cheek tone, it makes it relatable, playful, and honest. Leah explains it best:

“It feels like 7pm in August on your way to meet your friends… you panic a little but then you remember you’re literally surrounded by people that love your cute nonsense.”

Leah’s voice carries it with ease, low, gritty, and conversational. That style grew out of a tough moment when she lost her voice and had to rework her approach, leaning into her alto range and finding a rawer delivery. The result is a sound that feels lived-in, soulful, and unpolished in the best way.

Independence has always been key as Leah co-founded U Gd, Girl?, a collective hosting monthly events and workshops for women and non-binary people, tackling topics from health to boundaries to body image. She wants her music to carry the same energy, a safe space for people, especially those in underserved communities.

‘Have You Ever’ shows Leah Cleaver building her world with confidence; one where self-reflection, humour, and community sit side by side. It’s alt-pop with grit and warmth, and it proves Leah’s artistry is just getting started.
