Kibo Expands The World Of Kwengletarianism On New Project Kwengletaria

Following a sold-out UK tour and a growing community around his self-created world of Kwengletarianism, Kibo has announced his new 16-track project Kwengletaria, set for release on 3rd July. The forthcoming release arrives with momentum continuing to build around one of the most exciting new names in UK rap.

Kibo

Featuring recent singles ‘Headside In Da Skiez (Babycham Supernova)’, ‘Chancer’, ‘ShubzOnline’ and ‘Red Starz’, Kwengletaria continues the story of Kwengletarianism, Kibo's self-created philosophy built around radical self-expression and transforming everyday experiences into something larger than life.

Written and structured like a movie, the project follows what Kibo describes as a coming-of-age journey, taking listeners from the streets of Harrow to the gates of Kwengletaria. Across the record, Kibo pulls together football, anime, WWE, internet culture and London life, turning everyday references into part of the wider Kwengletarian story.

“This is a Kwengletarian coming of age tale, the origin story of big Kwengletaire,” Kibo explained. “Recounting my journey through the outside and online world, I start in the HA3 and end at the gates of Kwengletaria.”

What makes Kibo particularly interesting is that Kwengletarianism never feels like a marketing exercise. Across his music, visuals and live shows, the concept feels genuinely lived-in. The references, humour and mythology surrounding his work all feed into a creative identity that has been developing for years rather than appearing overnight.

Few artists are building a world as strange, funny and unmistakably British as Kibo. That authenticity is a large part of why his profile continues to grow. While many artists borrow from grime's foundations, Kibo feels like somebody actively carrying elements of 2000s grime culture into the modern era. The humour lands, the references feel natural and the bars remain at the centre of everything he does.

Sonically, the project appears just as ambitious as its concept. Moving between UK garage, donk, jungle, grime, drill and hyperpop influences, Kwengletaria brings together a wide range of sounds while continuing the genre-blurring approach that has become central to Kibo's music. Production comes from a collection of close collaborators, including HNRO, Swurla and Iglooghost, alongside contributions from Kibo himself.

Recent months have seen the world around Kibo continue to grow beyond the music. The Kweffy World Champ UK Tour sold out across multiple cities, while a homecoming headline show at Trinity in Harrow sold out in under an hour, underlining the strength of the community that has formed around both the artist and the ideas he represents.

With anticipation continuing to build around the full release, Kwengletaria looks set to be Kibo's most ambitious statement to date. He may still be early in his career, but Kibo already carries the attention and excitement of an artist much further along in their journey. If Kwengletaria delivers on the promise of its early singles, Kibo won't be viewed as one of grime's most promising newcomers for much longer.
