Alternative Hip-Hop and UK Garage artist, JWhale, is making a bold start to the year with the release of his two-track EP, "Wat U Wanna Do."
Influenced by The Streets, The Black Eyed Peas, and Faithless, JWhale combines energetic beats with unashamedly British lyricism, creating a unique and accessible sound that sets him apart in the music scene.
"Wat U Wanna Do" comes as the lead single for the EP and is described by JWhale as a high-energy Hip-Hop tune, representing a robust start to a year filled with new music releases. The tracks on the EP feature live audience recordings from JWhale's shows, capturing the vibrant energy and connection he shares with his audience during live performances emphasising the significance of performing live as a driving force behind his music.
With the accompanying visuals, they serve as a visual representation of the song's theme, centred around individuality and challenging societal expectations. JWhale collaborated with roller skater and local artist Alan AArt, who stars in the video, skating in response to JWhale's new track. Alan AArt, known for both his skating and artwork created in response to music, brings a unique and captivating element to the music video.
