Deep house music pioneer Julio Bashmore, known for iconic tracks such as Au Seve and Battle For Middle U, released Bubblin’ on Friday 26th of May via Local Action Records, which is his first time releasing on the label.
The Bristol-raised producer has taken more of a UKG and breaks approach on the track, which is his first release in eight years since his debut album from 2015, Knockin Boots, straying away from his former, primarily deep house roots with chopped vocals and a morphed bassline.
During Bashmore’s hiatus as Julio, he has released a handful of tracks under an alias called Bash. Bubblin’ marks the first of a series of several forthcoming releases coming this year from the Bristolian producer and will hopefully see the return of his DJ sets and live performances too.
