Jordy joins forces with grime legend JME to deliver razor-sharp new single, ‘Wonderkid’
Jordy’s inaugural single for the year comes alongside the announcement of his project titled ‘SNM’, the final instalment of his trilogy with ‘SMH’ and ‘KMT’. The acronym ‘SNM’, standing for ‘Say No More’, emphasises Jordy’s commitment to letting his music speak for itself.
Compelling visuals courtesy of Charlie Sarsfield accompany this release. With his unique visual approach combining excellently with the brilliant minimalist production of Maths Time Joy. The space left between hard-hitting snares and kicks provides an area for Jordy and JME to unleash their talent.
‘Wonderkid’ refers to a young individual whose prowess in their field rivals more seasoned performers. In this collaboration, Jordy is the wonderkid of rap, with JME a wonderkid of grime. A collaboration that makes a lot of sense, these two on a track combine excellently.
Definitely one for the rap purists, this one will inspire screw faces and gun fingers alike. Currently navigating his pre-album phase, Jordy is going from strength-to-strength, with this collaboration standing as testament to his continuous artistic growth.
