JAZ KARIS RECONNECTS WITH GOD AND HER YOUNGER SELF WITH THE RELEASE OF "LITTLE BLUE MOON"

Produced by Adam Boukis and co-written with Jay Isaiah, Jaz has made a mark on the scene with the release of "Little Blue Moon."

Released on November 17th, Jaz Karis debuted her new single ‘Little Blue Moon', produced by Adam Boukis and co-written with Jay Isaiah, Jaz creates a smooth track full of elegant vocals.

Jaz is no stranger to lyrics many can relate to and this is no different, as Jaz focuses on her relationship with God and all its complexities. She tells the audience that she’s reconnecting with her God by singing “I let you down but you still adore me...the way that you hold on my hand, I'll never let go again.” When questioned about the meaning behind the track, Jaz has said

“Little Blue Moon was a conversation between me and God. Knowing someone loves you unconditionally is a beautiful thing and this song is my token of appreciation for that.”

Visually the track delivers tenfold, which was beautifully directed by Ana Liasi and Daisy Maskell. Shooting took place on The River Lea, a peaceful and relaxed location that visibly showcases the themes Jaz is creating on the single. With the help of a younger actor, Jaz goes downstream, reconnecting with her younger self and her relationship with God.

Jaz spent a lot of her youth in Church choirs, singing to family and friends and watching parents show love to R&B.

So, it is of no surprise that Jaz creates such a soulful piece dedicated to her love and appreciation for God. After receiving praise from big tastemakers, the young talent is certainly one to watch throughout 2024.
