Frozemode Return With Razor-Sharp Release “Looking At Us”

Frozemode have dropped their first track of 2025, and it’s a warning shot. “LOOKING AT US” is a loud, unfiltered blast of alt-rap fused with punk guitars and crowd-killing drums, building on their natural extension of the chaos they’ve built onstage over the past year.

This is their first drop of 2025 and follows straight after supporting Denzel Curry at Brixton Academy, and it plays like a statement of intent. They know people stare. The track’s about owning that gaze, flipping it, making it impossible to look away. “It’s gritty, in your face and heavy,” they said. “If people stare, we’ll give them something to look at.”

The production is full throttle. Guitars slam in from the start and don’t let up. Drums feel like they’ve been lifted straight out of a packed tent at Reading. Vocals hit with the sort of urgency that’s made Frozemode’s live sets infamous.

Since their 2022 debut, Frozemode have built a cult-like following with little regard for genre or rules. It’s not just rap, or rock, or hardcore, it’s all of it at once, without apology.

What’s maybe most impressive is how they’ve kept their sound so focused while pulling in so many influences. The new single was shaped with help from figures like Olly Burden (The Prodigy), Sam Matlock (WARGASM), and Charlie Russell (Kasabian, The Strypes) after starting his year nestled in with London’s finest creatives across the alt scene, which makes sense. “LOOKING AT US” sits right in that lineage, high energy, high stakes, no pretence.

There’s no mistaking what this track is meant for. It’s made to be shouted, jumped to, lost in. Frozemode have always operated like a live band as much as a rap group, and this release hammers that home. They’ve tightened up, amped up, and are clearly building towards something bigger.

If “LOOKING AT US” is a sign of what’s coming, 2025 might be their year to break through for good.
