FRED AGAIN.. DROPS NEW ALBUM 'TEN DAYS' TAKING US ON A JOURNEY THROUGH QUIET AND INTIMATE MOMENTS

Fred again.. wraps up the summer with a deeply personal release, 'ten days,' an album that zooms in on the quieter, intimate moments of life.
Fred again..

Following the success of his 'USB LP,' this latest project reflects a more introspective side of the producer, focusing on "ten songs about ten days" that shaped him over the past year. Fred describes these days as a mix of joy, love, regret, and even numbness; a rollercoaster of emotions captured in sound.

“It’s ten songs about ten days. There have been a lot of biggg mad crazy moments in the last year but basically all of these are about really very small quiet intimate moments,”

Fred shared on Instagram, offering fans a glimpse into the personal stories behind the album. From falling in love to experiencing deep panic, 'ten days' isn’t just a collection of tracks - it’s a reflection on how the simplest moments can have the most profound impact.

The album brings together an impressive lineup of collaborators, including Anderson .Paak, Four Tet, Skrillex, Obongjayar, Jozzy, and Jim Legxacy, among others. Standout tracks like "places to be" feature the talents of CHIKA and Anderson .Paak, while other songs pull from a rich palette of vocal samples and atmospheric beats. The sound is an eclectic mix of pseudo-ambient techno, euphoric melodies, and hushed vocal textures, with influences from artists like Burial, Aphex Twin, and Bicep. But in true Fred again.. fashion, he makes it all uniquely his own.

One of the most exciting aspects of 'ten days' is how it feels like an invitation from Fred to pause and reflect on the small, meaningful experiences in life. As Fred himself said, the moments that shape us aren’t always the big, crazy ones; it’s often the quiet, personal ones that matter most. His recent rooftop session in London, where he invited friends to preview the album, perfectly captured this sentiment, creating a space to celebrate these everyday moments.

Whether you first discovered Fred again.. while making pancakes with a housemate, or stumbled across his set at a festival, 'ten days' offers something personal and universal. It’s an album about embracing the emotions that come with love, loss, and everything in between.
