Footpatrol and Salomon Team Up For Their First Collaboration As They Rework The XT-4 OG

Footpatrol and Salomon have linked for their first collaboration, reimagining the XT-4 OG with a monochrome gradient finish. The pair, previewed earlier at Paris Fashion Week, brings together Salomon’s technical DNA and Footpatrol’s city-minded aesthetic.

The XT-4 OG arrives with a split design: black mesh with white TPU overlays on the lateral side, and the inverse treatment on the medial side. This mirrored gradient runs across the shoe, sharpening the silhouette’s distinctive lines. Performance isn’t sacrificed as Salomon’s Agile Chassis Skeleton sits underfoot for stability, with Contragrip outsoles for traction and the brand’s signature Speed Lacing System for lockdown.

Paying tribute to Footpatrol’s two flagships, “LDN” and “PAR” replace the usual LAB branding on the toebox. Co-branding also appears on the insoles and tongue tag, subtle touches that keep the collaboration rooted in both function and detail.

The release is set for Thursday, 25th September 2025, priced at £175 GBP. The Footpatrol x Salomon XT-4 OG will be available exclusively through Footpatrol online, as well as in their London and Paris stores. To mark the drop, launch parties will be held on the 25th in London and the 26th in Paris, featuring live music and early access pairs.

The collab comes at a time when Salomon has firmly crossed into fashion’s orbit. Once a name for alpine gear and trail runners, the French label has become a staple of gorpcore and streetwear rotations through collaborations and retro reissues. This XT-4 OG cements that shift, delivering a look built for both the pavement and the path.
