flowerovlove is back with another addictive track, ‘erase u’, a hyperbolic crush anthem that captures the wild intensity of infatuation.
Co-written with Skyler Stonestreet and produced by Russell Chell, the single is the latest release ahead of her much-anticipated EP ‘ache in my tooth’, which is set to drop on 11th October.
Building on the momentum of previous releases like ‘Coffee Shop’, ‘Next Best Exit’, and ‘a girl like me’, flowerovlove describes ‘erase u’ as a “delusional crush anthem.” It's all about that over-the-top obsession when a crush feels so intense, you'd do anything just to be near them. “It’s like, ‘I love you, but we just met,’” she explains.
“‘erase u’ is when a crush becomes an addiction.”
flowerovlove has been making serious waves on the UK festival circuit, including a stunning debut at Glastonbury earlier this year. Now, she's ready to take on the US with two headline shows, hitting Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn on 12th November and The Moroccan Lounge in LA on 14th November.
With ‘erase u’ setting the tone, ‘ache in my tooth’ is shaping up to be an exciting new chapter for the rising star. If you’re into catchy, emotionally charged pop, this is one artist to keep an eye on.
