Dreaming Eli is Flourishing with My Name is Amore

Dreaming Eli has always been a house of survival. Its previous seasons charted a woman’s journey through rebellion, trauma, and self-preservation, a narrative sewn with pain, defiance, and eventual rebirth. But for Spring/Summer 2026, Elisa Trombatore loosens her grip on armour.

My Name is Amore does not ask how a woman survives. It asks how she surrenders: to love, to softness, to herself.

This is not a retreat into fragility but a radical expansion of it. Eli’s woman, once defined by her fight, now wears vulnerability as intention, choosing tenderness with the same conviction she once chose defiance. The shift is palpable: silhouettes are softened, fabrics reconciled, and colour imbued with warmth that feels at once familiar and startlingly fresh.

Tweed is the collection’s anchor, its historical weight offset by deliberate undoing. Worn raw, seams frayed and edges ripped, it becomes a meditation on strength made porous. Paired with vinyl, the fabric is reimagined as something both romantic and resistant, its traditional elegance colliding with a toughness that never fully hardens. Biker jackets and trousers echo this duality, their tough outlines softened by the slivers of tweed that poke through.

The palette speaks in the body’s own language - blood reds, blushed pinks, skin-warmed creams, and earthy browns. It is a chromatic intimacy, as if the garments are pulled from beneath the skin rather than draped upon it. Knitwear returns with new tactility, building textures that ask to be touched.

The word Amore, stitched onto nude mesh, calls back to Trombatore’s Sicilian roots and the fierce women who taught her what love might demand. Like a tattoo, the word is both declaration and scar: something worn permanently, something carried forward.

What emerges is an emotional cartography. Each look negotiates the contradictions of love, its surrender and its strength, its power to scar and to soothe. The Dreaming Eli woman walks here as both explorer and terrain: her body a map of what she has endured, her clothes a rehearsal of what she dares to become.

If previous seasons were about survival, My Name is Amore is about flourishing. It is a reminder that after resilience comes softness, and that softness can be the fiercest gesture of all.
