Douvelle19 & AntsLive Link up On Heavy Release 'Ghost'

Cardiff producer/DJ Douvelle19 has joined forces with North London rap powerhouse AntsLive on their brand-new single ‘Ghost’, fusing Douvelle19’s hypnotic, bass-heavy production with AntsLive’s razor-sharp wordplay, bringing together two rising forces from different corners of the UK scene.

Douvelle19

The link-up was sparked after Douvelle19 reworked AntsLive’s ‘Number One Candidate’ for his edits vol.4 project, with the chemistry in the studio quickly translating into fresh material. That creative spark has now delivered ‘Ghost’,' a cut built for festival stages, late-night dance floors, and everything in between.

On the mic, AntsLive is in his element. Fresh off his debut album, he delivers slick, tongue-in-cheek bars that slide perfectly over Douvelle19’s dirty garage-house basslines. The production swings between filthy drops and smooth R&B-tinged synths, with crisp percussion keeping the pace while AntsLive spits as if he’s mid-flirt on the dancefloor. It’s cheeky, playful, and undeniably heavy.

First teased on Douvelle19’s RinseFM show, ‘Ghost’ officially landed the same day as his long-awaited debut at Leeds Festival, adding to his stacked summer that’s already seen him drop the Love Me Not EP and tear up stages at Boomtown and Night Tales.\

With ‘Ghost’, North London swagger meets South Wales grit, and the result is a cut that shows both artists are serious ones to watch, who aren't afraid to take on new sounds.
