DAISYWORLD ANNOUNCES HER DEBUT ALBUM "TOOTHPICK" WITH THE RELEASE OF "BREAK IT OFF"
DAISY WORLD, the artistic endeavour of multi-disciplinary Los Angeles-based artist Daisy Hamel-Buffa, is set to release her long-awaited debut solo album, 'TOOTHPICK,' on February 2, 2024.
DAISY WORLD, the project of multi-talented artist Daisy Hamel-Buffa, has announced the upcoming release of her debut solo album, 'TOOTHPICK,' set to drop on February 2, 2024. Alongside this announcement, Daisy World has released a captivating new single, "break it off," accompanied by a visually stunning video.
As a preview of the upcoming album, Daisy World has released the single "break it off." Being created and written after a transformative dating experience, Daisy realised the importance of asserting her desires and walking away from situations that didn't align with her goals. The accompanying video, created in collaboration with director of photography Seannie Bryan, enhances the emotional depth of the track.
Offering insights into the inspiration behind the upcoming album and its significance in her artistic journey, DAISYWORLD says;
"TOOTHPICK taught me how to believe in myself, in my vision & in all the sounds that I hear in my head. TOOTHPICK allowed me to explore myself and my musicality in a way I never have before. I see myself in this music... I FEEL myself in this music... and I have never been more proud of anything in my life. TOOTHPICK is a coming of age journey that I stumbled into. It's about finally having the courage and confidence to make big & spooky changes in my life, jumping off the cliff and trusting that I would land (semi) gracefully. I'm saying "hello baby!" to the future. TOOTHPICK is about removing alla that gunk stuck in between your teeth and showing the world your bright and beautiful smile."
To mark the release of 'TOOTHPICK,' Daisy World will headline a show at The Roxy in Los Angeles on February 2, 2024.
