Rising Essex artist Chrissi joins forces with Rachel Chinouriri to deliver an inspiring rework of her hit single 'Love Me In Chapters,' blending indie and pop with soulful tones.
For those just discovering Essex artist Chrissi and latecomers to her music, there's no better introduction than her current single, 'Love Me In Chapters.' In her ongoing mission to captivate the global music scene with her unique talent, Chrissi presents an extraordinary rework of her latest single, featuring the immaculate talents of Rachel Chinouriri.
Inspired by moments of escapism in Harry Styles fanfiction, 'Love Me In Chapters' emerged after a profound heartbreak. Structured initially as a song divided into three chapters, with the final verse representing the most emotive turn, the reworked version of the single offers an equal slice of appreciation and empowerment, blending elements of indie and pop, 'Love Me In Chapters II' showcases the conversational flows of both Chrissi and Chinouriri, bound together by their soulful tones.
Chrissi expresses her thoughts on collaborating with Chinouriri, stating,
"Rachel reached out (which was insane considering how much her music has been the soundtrack to my life over the past few years) and she said she loved the song and would be up for featuring on it. It made my heart so full; her verse is so delicate and feels at home on the song. I'm over the moon with it."
Chinouriri adds,
"I heard this song and instantly connected with it. There are so many emotions that hit me the first time I heard it, and it's been a long time since I've felt that. The lyrics are truly so beautiful, and I wanted to see if there was any way I could be part of that story too. Luckily, I was able to write a second verse."
