CHANEL LOREN DIVES INTO SELF-REFLECTION IN "CARELESSLY DOOMED" WITH THE UNEXPECTED FEATURE KOTA THE FRIEND

At a time when the outside is dark and gloomy, Chanel Loren brings us back to a warmer time and reminds us of that summer feeling with her latest release "Careleslly Doomed" featuring Kota The Friend.

Carelessly Doomed showcases Loren’s signature soulful vocals over an upbeat pop instrumental. The London raised but Sydney based young artist, displays confidence in her unique voice, performing perfectly throughout the track.

Pairing this with the excellent feature that is American rapper Kota The Friend, whom Loren supported during his headline tour of Australia. Kota is a welcomed addition, bringing an energy that we didn’t know we needed. Speaking about the single, Chanel comments

“Carelessly Doomed is an intimate conversation to myself about owning my overthinking and perfectionist tendencies. It's me consciously trying to let things go and accept the process - even if it scares me. The feature with Kota The Friend happened really organically. I opened for him on tour at the end of 2022 and we got along super well. Shortly after I started teasing Carelessly Doomed and he heard a snippet and immediately DM’d me asking for the instrumental. The rest is history!”
