Black Sherif Opens a New Chapter With SUN SHERIF

Black Sherif returns with SUN SHERIF, a six-track EP featuring AratheJay and Full Blown following an intimate London preview in August.

Black Sherif has released SUN SHERIF, a six-track EP following his 2025 album IRON BOY and featuring appearances from AratheJay and Full Blown.

Released through Blacko Management / EMPIRE, SUN SHERIF runs for 15 minutes and 56 seconds. The project features “Expresso”, “Run Around”, “Forever” featuring AratheJay, “Jolie”, “Frontline” and “Love Again” featuring Full Blown.

The material surrounding the release presents SUN SHERIF as a more personal project, drawing from quieter parts of Black Sherif’s day-to-day life. His bedroom sits at the centre of the project’s framing, with solitude, routine and reflection shaping much of the thinking behind it.

Before its release, Black Sherif previewed unreleased material during an intimate London listening session in August, giving those in attendance an early introduction to the project.

AratheJay appears on “Forever”, while Trinidad and Tobago songwriting and production duo Full Blown feature on closing track “Love Again”.

SUN SHERIF follows Black Sherif’s 2025 album IRON BOY, continuing his run of releases without stretching the story into another full-length project.
