Meet £Monzo, the name resonating across South West London as a slick lyricist and tastefully gritty artist poised to dominate the scene. Following the recent buzz around her release "Wig Install," £Monzo has joined forces with Amsterdam-based producer Lamsi for her latest single "S.I.T". Already catching the attention of rap peers and industry tastemakers, £Monzo is set to redefine the UK Hip Hop and Rap landscape in the coming year. Discussing the making of "S.I.T," £Monzo shares,

“Making S.I.T was probably the easiest song Iʼve made so far. I was literally falling asleep when the lyrics came to mind; I grabbed my laptop and just recorded the whole thing. I sent the demo to Lamsi, and he said you HAVE to put this out.”

The creative synergy continued as £Monzo flew to Amsterdam to collaborate with Lamsi, shaping the masterpiece as the duo's creative flow extended to the video, shot in a tight 24-hour window in Amsterdam.

Influenced by iconic figures like The Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, Lil' Kim, and more, £Monzo blends these inspirations into her unique sound. The artist showcases her multifaceted talents by styling her visuals and producing her own material, evident in her notable works like the "PGG Freestyle" and "Wig Install."

£Monzo is ready to challenge perceptions of UK female Hip Hop and Rap with "S.I.T" as just the beginning, now leaving us eagerly anticipating what £Monzo has in store for 2024.
