With their debut self-titled album due to release in February of this year, the fast-rising Essex punk bank BILK are set to have their best year to date in 2023.
Made up of the power trio, Sol Abraham, Luke Hare, and Harry Gray, this collective’s electric chemistry can be heard throughout their whole discography. Building themself a strong reputation as one of the most exciting young acts leading this next wave of UK talent coming into the mainstream, 2023 is only going to see this continue to grow. With performances at multiple UK festivals in 2022 from the likes of Derbyshire’s Y NOT festival to the iconic Reading and Leeds Festival, this trio were able to test the waters for their new project.
With lyrics consisting of tongue-in-cheek references throughout each release, lead singer Sol keeps alive the traditional authentic gritty sounds of punk alive just with an added taste of modern punk throughout.
