Rising Swedish singer-songwriter Zikai has unveiled her latest EP, 'don't look at the moon...', which reflects on her evolving relationship with love over the years. This new five-track project, including the featured single 'Come Get Me Out,' represents a significant step in her career. Zikai, has spent over a year in the studio refining her distinctive sound, which blends elements of R&B, soul, and pop with her enthralling vocals. Zikai has created a captivating collection that explores themes of self-confidence, sensuality, and vulnerability. Zikai shares her inspiration behind the EP:
"This EP is about my relationship with love and how it has evolved over the years. I'm reclaiming my power in some ways, trying not to blame everyone and everything (including the moon) for my emotions. After a break from releasing music, I'm thrilled to finally showcase this new chapter of myself and the music I've been working on during this time. There's much more to come!"
The EP presents a series of dreamy, diary-like narratives, beginning with Zikai's brand-new single, 'Come Get Me Out.' In this track, she expresses her yearning for someone who can pull her out of an anxious state of mind. Zikai describes it as;
"being around that person who can turn a bad day into a good day and make you feel like things might not be as bad as they seem."
As Zikai's star continues to rise with the release of 'don't look at the moon...,' she is poised to expand her global audience further and establish herself as a rising R&B-pop artist to watch this year.
