Fast-emerging South Bronx rapper B-Lovee has returned to the soundsphere with his scintillating new track, “Act Bad” featuring Philadelphia native 2Rare. The track was released on the 14th of April and has been making waves in the hip-hop community ever since.

B-Lovee has quickly become recognised as one of US drill music's most exciting breakout names, and "Act Bad" is another street-heat smash that combines his signature aggression with a melodic, fast-paced instrumental sampling the classic Carl Thomas R&B hit "I Wish". The sample is now chopped and screwed by New Jersey drill pioneer DJ Swill B.

20-year-old artist 2Rare is tapped for a hot feature fresh from his breakout hit "Do It Again" alongside NLE Choppa. Together the two serve up smart lyricism and trademark adlibs for a melodic rap classic.

Nicknamed after the 'Buddy Love' character from the 1998 cult-classic Child's Play, B-Lovee's signature has become reviving contemporary samples across his aggressive brand of music. Examples include "Neaky" updating Gyptian's "Hold Yuh" and the G-Herbo assisted "My Everything (Part III)" sampled from Mary J. Blige.

B-Lovee's monumental feature on UK Drill icon Digga D's latest mixtape with the smash hit "What You Reckon" has also helped to add to his rapidly-expanding catalogue. The Maryland rising star added to this with the explosive "Shottas" —a menacing soundtrack layered with his unique growl— coming hot on the heels of his collaboration with fellow rising superstar Coi Leray and a breakthrough album Misunderstood in 2022.

With key performances at Meek Mill's Madison Square Garden concert and New York's esteemed Rolling Loud festival, B-Lovee continues to carve a heavy lane in the international drill landscape. With a slew of new music promised for 2023, the rugged talent polished with intelligent samples feels primed for major tastemaker attention.
