West London's pioneering musician, Br3nya, has released her highly anticipated debut EP titled 'Innit Innit Girl'.
This 10-track project is a perfect fusion of Ghanaian and West London cultures, representing the essence of a true "Innit Innit Girl." The older generation in Ghana uses this playful term to describe young people with unmatched confidence and swagger toward life. After a brief hiatus from music, Br3nya's return has been warmly welcomed by friends, family, fans, and supporters who have been following her journey since she first emerged in 2018.
Kicking off with 'Payday', which served as a statement re-launch in March, Br3nyax showcases her ability to seamlessly blend sultry vocals with smooth rap flows, building on the signature sound she has become known for. Followed smoothly by the summer-tinged single 'Outside', Br3nya's playfulness and optimistic side shine through allowing her big and bold personality to take to the stage. Matched with the anthemic chorus of 'Outside,' Br3nya dismisses any negative energy you could be feeling and sets the tone for the project.
Transporting listeners to Ghana, "Khmasi" symbolises Br3nya's metaphorical journey as she sheds light on underrepresented parts of the country teeming with life. After an interlude that delves into the definition of the project's title, rising Ghanaian singer and songwriter Moliy joins Br3nya for 'No Lovin' adding her angelic soft vocals as they defy the essence of a true "Innit Innit Girl" whilst marking a change of mood for the project.
Heading into a personal highlight, Br3nya offers us a perfectly constructed blend of Afrobeats and R&B in the form of "Us" featuring Alté pioneer Tay Iwar and production bad entity. Fulfilling her mission to enhance the listening experience with various sonic elements, a theme that continues on the final two tracks, 'Comfortable' and 'Betting On Me'.
With her dedicated audience eagerly waiting for 'Innit Innit Girl,' Br3nya has delivered a milestone moment in her career.
